?Education and liberal arts courses are taught side-by-side. Husson's classroom is extended into the community. We believe that teaching our children and shaping the well-being of future generations is a challenge for those among us most committed to making the world a better place.
At Husson, the Teacher Education programs are designed to combine practical experience with a strong academic foundation. Our classes are small which means that students get to know the faculty. Working with the faculty on such a personal basis will help prepare you for the rewards and challenges of teaching in the classroom. Our purpose is to prepare students to be effective educators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and life-long learners.
The Educational Studies major offers students within the School of Education the option of two different concentrations for those interested in working in a non-classroom setting not requiring certification: Physical Education and Elementary Education.
