• Animal and Dairy Science (ADS) is a multidisciplinary and diverse department that provides instructional, research and extension programming in the areas of food animal production, equine/companion animal management, and animal and medicinal biotechnology that addresses critical issues, such as cost of production, profitability, human and animal health, environmental stewardship, bioethics, and animal well-being.
  • The Department of Animal & Dairy Science offers research-based graduate programs of study leading to the M.S. degree in Animal Science or Dairy Science, and the Ph.D. degree in Animal & Dairy Science with special emphasis in biotechnology, breeding and genetics, meats and muscle biology, nutrition, reproductive physiology, or production management.
