• Students in the M.S. program may pursue a focus in historic/cultural aspects of dress and textiles, merchandising, interiors, or textile science. Students conduct scholarly research and develop skills needed for industry, business, government, and academia. The M.S. program offers flexibility in selecting coursework that enables a student to meet a variety of career goals. All M. S. students complete a master’s thesis. Recent graduates from our M.S. program hold a variety of positions in industry, academia and museums.
  • Graduate programs are directed toward preparation of professionals for careers in business, industry, government and academia.  Two graduate degrees are offered: Master of Science degree in Textiles, Merchandising and Interiors and the PhD degree in Textile Sciences and emphasis in International Merchandising.  All are research degrees that culminate in a thesis (MS) or dissertation (PhD).
