- The University of Georgia's M.S. in Biochemical Engineering degree requires a minimum of 33 semester hours, which consist of the following on the student’s Program of Study.
- The MSBE degree provides an opportunity for learning advanced techniques of data analyses and presentation of original research results. Skills in problem definition are also stressed. This degree requires twenty-four semester hours of course work, including ENGR 6910, Research Methods and one hour of seminar (ENGR 8950). Six hours of thesis research is also required. Nine hours of life science courses identified by the department committee and student are highly encouraged. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Students must hold at least a baccalaureate degree accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting association or its international equivalent prior to the expected semester of enrollment, with the exception of University of Georgia undergraduate students enrolled in linked bachelors-masters programs.
- Minimum TOEFL score requirement: overall score of 80 with at least 20 on speaking and writing.
- Minimum IELTS score requirement: overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0.
