Many students attend individual and combined auditions and are hired by professional theatre companies in the summer. AU Theatre Majors have auditioned for and been hired by the following theatre companies:

• The Barn Theatre

• Summer Stock at Findlay

• Tecumseh Outdoor Drama

• Texas Family Musicals

• Theatre West Virginia

Audition skills are assessed each year to meet the department student-learning outcome that students will be prepared to audition for professional theatre. Musical Theatre track students present their resume and audition songs each spring as part of the department?s Assessment Auditions and Interviews.
