Our Master’s of Engineering (M.E.) degree in Biomedical Engineering is a professional Master’s Program for students who are focused on a career in the healthcare industry. Students will develop deep technical skills through advancedcoursework at the interface between engineering and biology.

We strive to provide you with an advanced foundation in the basic and applied sciences, as well as opportunities to broaden your skill sets in technology development, project management, and commercialization.  

The 30 semester-hour program can be completed in as little as one year of full-time study. Of the 30 credit hours, 12 hours will be mandatory core courses that will enhance general knowledge of biomedical engineering, while the remaining 18 hours will be chosen by the student from an extensive list of electives to enable development of a specific area of expertise.
