Computer Science program will teach students to design, build, and test sophisticated software systems and install them on computer platforms; work with and design software systems involving databases, modeling, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, communication, and information retrieval; and solve problems by working with programming languages, data structures, and algorithm analysis.
The program will develop a commitment to professional and ethical computer science standards as well as a devotion to the life-long learning of new trends in computing, information, and technologies
Students will be able to tackle global and societal issues with diverse and exceptional faculty who are passionate about advancing both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of computer science

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a minimum of 120 credits and at least 60 credits in the liberal arts and sciences
Students must achieve and maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
The students should have completed the General Education Program at the University at Albany
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Students Eligibility:

Students should submit required official and complete individual mark skeets for each examination attempt, including subsidiary exams.
Photocopies of student's mark sheets are accepted only when they are attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Examinations and placed in a sealed, stamped envelope that is sent directly to the Graduate School.

Evidence of sufficient funds in the bank account to ensure you can survive the duration of course in the USA.
Score sheet of standardized exams like IELTS (6.0 or equivalent), TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, etc.
Proof that the candidate will leave the country once the program is completed. A return air ticket to the home country can be evidence of this kind.
