Information Science and Engineering is a discipline that includes theories, standards, methods, and innovations of various different domains like mathematics, cognitive science, and information theory to solve complex IT problems.
Information science is the science and practice dealing with the effective collection, storage, retrieval, and use of information. It is concerned with recordable information and knowledge, and the technologies and related services that facilitate their management and use.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must complete 75% of the total credits to be eligible for federal financial aid. Students have four semesters to achieve the 75% standard
Students must achieve and maintain at least a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale cumulative GPA.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results are required.

Indian Student's Eligibility:

Students should submit required official and complete individual mark skeets for each examination attempt, including subsidiary exams.
Photocopies of students' mark sheets are accepted only when they are attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Examinations and placed in a sealed, stamped envelope that is sent directly to the Graduate School.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

Original Marks Sheet or Provisional certificates.
Evidence of sufficient funds in the bank account to ensure you can survive the duration of the course in the USA.
Score sheet of standardized exams like IELTS (6.5 or equivalent), TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, etc.
Proof that the candidate will leave the country once the program is completed. A return air ticket to the home country can be evidence of this kind.
