Woxsen University recently organised a Three-Day Global Impact Summit - 2022 at Kamkole, commencing on April 11, 2022. Andrew Edlefsen, Principal Commercial Officer, US Consulate was present at this summit. He mentioned that Indian Pupils comprise one-third of the total international students in the USA. In 2021, around 167,000 Indian students were pursuing higher studies in America.

According to him, education forms a crucial bridge between US and India and should be further reinforced through partnerships. The Summit was held at Munipally Mandal of Sangareddy District. The main theme was ‘Emerging technologies and the Future of Higher Education Landscape in India’.
The Summit was inaugurated by Jayesh Ranjan, IT and Industries Secretary. While addressing the assembly afterwards, he opined that education is a very important agency in India as it has the ability to bridge the social and economic gaps in our country.

He added that Indians who go abroad, perform better and are more successful. Ranjan mentioned that many multinational conglomerates are headed by Indians. Mr. Jayesh Ranjan also talked about the advantages and impact of incorporating hands-on learning methods into the Indian Education system. According to him, internships should be made compulsory and strictly regulated.
