A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three years programme leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours (Honours) must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Std XII) conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education OR its equivalent in science stream from any board of any State, with minimum 50% marks in PCB.
A candidate must have completed compulsorily during this tenure of 10+2 years course in biology.
Those candidates who did not have Mathematics at 10 + 2 level have to mandatorily complete the General elective on ‘Introductory mathematics for life scientists’ offered in this programme.
