Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have completed 2 Year Masters/ PG Diploma in the related field approved by UGC/ AICTE or from foreign universities as recognized by AIU, with minimum 55% aggregate or an equivalent grade.
• Candidate should have completed 4 Year UG Program in the related field approved by UGC/ AICTE or from foreign universities as recognized by AIU, with minimum 75% aggregate or an equivalent grade.

Note: Students with master's from Distance or Online Education should obtain a degree approved by DEB of UGC.

Admission Process

• Step1: Apply Online for the desired Ph.D. program
• Step2: Submit entrance test score of UGC-NET (Incl. JRF)/ CSIR/ ICMR/ GATE cleared within the last 2 years or appear for the online Woxsen Research Entrance Test (WRET)
• Step3: Submit Your Research Proposal
• Step4: Present Your Research Proposal followed by a Personal Interview with a Panel of Experts

Program Duration :

• For candidates with 2 year Masters/ PG Diploma, the minimum program duration is for 3 years and can be extendable to a maximum of 6 years.
• For candidates with 4 year UG Program, the minimum program duration is for 4 years and can be extendable to a maximum of 7 years.

Note: Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the ordinance of Woxsen University.
