Academic Requirement:

For Maharashtra Candidate–

• The candidate should be an Indian National having domicile in Maharashtra state.
• The candidate with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in a Bachelor of Architecture degree course or equivalent courses recognized by the Council of Architecture shall be admitted to the post graduate course in architecture.
• Obtained Non-Zero Positive Score in Graduates Aptitude Test in GATE for Architecture conducted by Indian Institute of Technology; or MAH-M.ARCH-CET conducted by state government of Maharashtra or MGMU-CET 2021(M.ARCH)/PERA-CET 2021.
• For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm /company /industry /educational and/ or research institute/any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

Note:

• Candidates who have appeared in GATE before 2021 and having score which is valid for AY 2020-21 (as mentioned on the scorecard) are eligible for admission.
• Candidates who have appeared GATE in 2019-20 with non-zero score shall be considered on the basis of Marks obtained.
• Preference shall be given to the Valid Score candidates over not valid score.

For All India Candidate

• The candidate should be an Indian National.
• The candidate with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in a Bachelor of Architecture degree course or equivalent courses recognized by the Council of Architecture shall be admitted to the post graduate course in architecture.

• Preference shall be given to the Valid Score candidates over non valid score.

NRI* Candidates:

Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent.
