• Candidates should have passed a PG degree in a relevant subject with 55% score.
• Candidates should have secured 7.7 CGPA or its equivalent grade B where grading system is followed
• Candidates who have an equivalent degree from a Foreign Educational Institution that must be approved by a recognized authority by following proper law and regulations 
• 5% Relaxation (from 55% to 50%) in marks is available for SC/ST/OBC and differently-abled candidates or as per UGC norms.

Shyam University PhD Course Details

The PhD Course offered by Shyam University has a minimum duration of 3 years. Students have to submit a thesis at the end of the course to get their degree. In case students have not completed their thesis in 3 years, they can apply for an extension. The maximum extension that can be availed is of 2 years. The University also provides a part time PhD program which has a duration of 4-6 year. Similar rules apply in the part time course.
