Course Information

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate must have Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent. Relaxation to reserved category students are as per State Govt. norms

Reservation:

5% relaxation to the students of North-East states including Sikkim/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants

Course Details

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in HSC or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Must have Physics, mathematics and Chemistry as subjects in class 10+2 examination.

Selection Criteria

  • MGU provides admission to the students on merit basis selection process.
  • Certain seats are reserved for NE state students, Defence dependents and KM applicants.

Ques. Is B.tech in CSE good or I should opt for IT branch?

Ans. Students mostly choose CSE over IT as it gives more privilege and exposure to the CSE graduates with broad terms of being placed in both product based and IT companies.

Ques. Can I do an internship during B.tech course years at MGU?

Ans. Yes, in MGU students are allowed to do internships during the course period. The B.tech students can apply for summer internship or winter internship after completion of second year.

Ques. What job position can I apply for internship with B.tech CSE?

Ans. The students willing for internship with stipends can apply for vacancies in startup organisation which mainly hire trainees for the following positions:
