• Candidate having good academic record i.e. has passed X, XII Std, Graduation, Post-Graduation with first division i.e. at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA). Five percent (5%) relaxation in the required percentage of marks will be given to the students of State of Maharashtra belonging to SC/ST/DTNT/SBC/OBCcategories.
• Candidate with exceptional abilities having passed graduation in relevant discipline with 60% of marks in degree examination with at least 15 years professional experience after graduation in the related field, and candidates possessing B.E./B.Tech. Degree and patents/ intellectual property rights registered in their names may also apply. However their eligibility is subject to the approval by the competent authority of MITADT University.
• Foreign candidates (applicants) with 50% or equivalent GPA at Master’s degree level.
• Senior citizens with Master’s degree may also apply. However, their eligibility is subject to recommendations of the Dean of faculty concerned and final approval by the Vice-chancellor of MIT-ADTUniversity.
• Exemption from Appearing Written Entrance Test (PET)

The candidate fulfilling at least one of the following conditions will be exempted from Entrance Test:

• Qualified in GATE (valid score*)/GPAT(valid score*) / SETAIET= SET/NET/ JRF / SRF examination of the apex bodies such as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT and DST Inspire fellowshiponly.
• M. Phil. Degree in a relevant subject obtained from any Recognized University
