A few years back a friend of mine was in a situation when he had to make a choice between lower ranked NIUs and Bennett University. After much consideration he chooses Bennett. According to him, it was the best choice. He had a great experience at the institute. 

Here is his input about the BBA LLB course at Bennett University. 

• Faculty- In the School of Law particularly, the faculty appointed is unmatchable even by the top National Law Schools. Bennett has the best faculty with professors holding PhDs from top institutions such as the London School of Economics, and in India, such as IIM’s, NLS Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad. They impart education in the most modern ways.
• Tech Learning- All the learning is E-learning through modern methods acquired from international universities such as Cornell University, New York, USA. one simply needs pen and paper only during the exams.
• Association - Bennett University is associated directly with Johnson Cornell University, New York, USA. The teachers from The Partner University visit Bennett University for teaching. Bennett has exchange programs and other international cultural programs with these partner institutes.
• Law School Events- The Law school in its 1st year of formation conducted various events and even an Intra-Law School Fest with sponsors such as The Times of India, Manupatra, Law Skills, Contrario, etc. The fest involved the participation of Professors as well as Students. 
• Student Bar Association- The Student Bar Association is a student-run body that takes care of the student’s aspects and the running of the School of Law alongside the administration. There are many clubs and committees under SBA which are managed by student moderators with the members. 
• Law Library- The BU SOL has a Law Library inaugurated by Shri Ram Jethmalani Ji. The library is vast. In addition to the books and e-books, it contains various law Databases such as West Law.

Sharda University is a private university situated in Greater Noida, established in the year 2009. The college has been accredited with NAAC ‘B’ grade. It has 250+ global tie-ups with various institutions and organizations. The two-year course has a fee ranging from 5.28 Lakhs to 8.7 Lakhs depending on the specialization chosen.

Bennett University is a private university established by the Times of India Group, situated in Greater Noida. The college was set-up in the year 2016. It was ranked 62ndfor MBA by Outlook. The college has been approved by the UGC. The fees for MBA is 10 LPA for a period of two years.

Admission Procedure

• Sharda University: The prerequisite for seeking admission to this course at Sharda is scoring 50% in graduation. Further, students are shortlisted on the basis of SUAT or CAT/MAT scores. Students are finally selected on the basis of the GD & PI round.
• Bennett University: The basic eligibility criteria for MBA at Bennett is scoring 50% in graduation. Further, students are selected on the basis of CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, GRE scores.

Infrastructure & Facilities

• Sharda University: The college is built over a humongous 63-acre campus. The college is home to a number of cafeterias and fast-food restaurants. The college also has a well-equipped library, on-campus hostels, laboratories, sports facilities, a convenience store, and a gym. The college also runs a shuttle service for its students.
• Bennett University: The college is built over a massive 60-acre campus. The college has air-conditioned classrooms, sports facilities, in-campus hostels, multi-cuisine cafeterias, laboratories, a library, gym, and auditorium. The college also runs a shuttle service for its students.

Placements

• Sharda: Various recruiters come on campus for recruitment including Amazon, American Express, Pepsi, Cognizant and many others. MBA has a perfect placement rate of 100% The average package offered for students of this course is 6LPA, with the highest package going up to 10LPA.
• Bennett: Recruiters such as Coca-Cola, Daikin, Deloitte, and HDFC Bank come on-campus for placements. The average package offered is 6.4 LPA and the highest package goes up to 7.5LPA.

Both colleges are identical on most fronts, however, Sharda University would be a better preference between the two. Sharda University has a wider choice for MBA specialisations and a much better return on investment, with much lower fees.

Bennett University offers various UG, PG, doctoral and Diploma courses in fields such as Engineering, Arts, Law, Mass Communication and Management. The college offers a total of 26 courses across 7 streams.

Course Fees- It is a private institution and therefore the fee for some courses is very high in comparison to other institutes. The fee structure for various courses offered by the college are as follows-

• B.Tech. – 14.75 Lakhs

• MBA – 14.75 Lakhs

• BBA – 8.25 Lakhs

• BA + LL.B. – 15.75 Lakhs

Admission Process- For admission in B.Tech, a valid JEE Main score, SAT or NEET score is required. For BA LLB, CLAT or LSAT score is required. The college conducts BUMAT for all students seeking admission in MBA. For PhD courses, the college conducts Bennett Research Aptitude Test (BRAT), which is followed by an interview.

Infrastructure- The campus provides various facilities such as food courts, mess, shopping centres, gym, along with two libraries, and the entire campus has a broadband communications network. The campus also provides facilities such as ATMs, dispensary and transport facilities for the convenience of students.

Placements- Last year, the college recorded an average salary package of 5.50 LPA, and the highest package of 44 LPA for BTech, and 7.5 LPA for MBA. Capgemini, Cognizant, TATA Consultancy Services, Microsoft, BYJU’S, Hitachi Consulting, Cvent, GeeksforGeeks, Goldman Sachs, Wipro, Xebia, Justdial, JUSPAY and NIIT Technologies were among the top recruiting companies to conduct placement drives. A total of 121 offers were given to students last year.

Training- The college has a placement team that works closely for conducting guest lectures, joint development programmes and internships. Over 124 companies participated in the summer internship drives conducted last year. The college also provides scholarships to eligible students on the basis of their scores in JEE Mains, NEET, SAT among others.
