A satisfactory performance in the UG level in relevant subjects is the basic eligibility criteria for all PG courses at Maulana Azad University. Some subjects may have additional eligibility requirements. The Master of Arts is offered in 

• History
• Political Science
• Sociology
• Urdu Literature
• Hindi Literature
• Home Science
• Geography
• Education

And the M.Sc program is offered in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology specializations.

The marks obtained in the Bachelor level is the only criteria for selection in the program. A small portion of seats may be reserved by the university under management quota.
