A candidate seeking admission to the PhD programme must satisfy any one of the following eligibility criteria:

3.1 Master's degree or equivalent in the relevant subject with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA/Grade.

3.2 A relaxation of 5% of marks, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / differently disabled cagegories of candidates.

3.3 In case of candidates holding a qualifying degree from a foreign university, registration for PhD will be confirmed after determination of equivalence by the Dr. Subhash University.

3.4 The qualifying degree should be recognized by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities /Pharmacy Council of India / All India Council for Technical Education or any other approved and recognized Scientific Bodies of the Government of India and approved by the Academic Council / Board of Management of the University for Provisional Registration for the PhD Degree.

3.5 Candidates who have obtained their degree/s through correspondence course/s are not eligible.
