The Dev Sanskriti University in Haridwar is appropriate for the students as it has a very welcoming and accepting environment.

Here are some facts about it:

The faculty is highly experienced and extremely cooperative.
The college students are very enthusiastic about organization and participation in fests and cultural programs.
Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV) is very strict when it comes to discipline.
They are strict about holidays and taking leaves.
A 75% attendance is compulsory for all the students, failing which they will not be allowed to sit for the exams.
The college food is average.
The timings for lunch and dinner are really bad. Breakfast is at 6 AM, Lunch timing is 11 AM and Dinner timing is 5 PM.

Overall the college is good, but for out-station students the adjustment to the place, food, weather, etc. will take some time. Try making friends who will make you familiar with the place and its surroundings.
