If you are planning on joining Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, then you may find the following things helpful.

• Although there is a 75% attendance rule, it is not followed strictly. 
• Classes usually get disturbed because of the student union activities and elections.
• Start focusing on studies right from the beginning of your year. It is hard to score decent marks at MGKVP. 
• Try to communicate with your friends and teachers.

At the Vidyapith campus, there is not much to do during weekends. But there are many places in Varanashi that you can visit during the weekend. Some of these places are- 

• Old and famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
• The BHU campus and new Viswanath Temple.
• The famous ghats, such as Dashaswamedh Ghat and Assi Ghat.
• The Ramnagar Fort.
• The King Mansingh Fort.

There are also many eateries and restaurants near the campus that you can visit.
