CSJMU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to pursue B.tech from CSJMU have to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam conducted by NTA.
The candidates who have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core subjects would be eligible to apply for the test.
Candidates who will qualify the entrance test as per the cut-off released in the respective year will be called for counseling.

CSJMU B.Tech Admission Process

CSJMU B.Tech admission will be based on the all-India rank secured in the JEE Main entrance examination. The final selection will be done through the counselling sessions conducted by the university. Seats for the B.Tech program are allocated on the basis of JEE Main rank, category, availability of seats, and various other factors.

CSJMU B.Tech Course Details

The programme is divided into 8 semesters and stretches for a period of four years. Details of the same are given below:

CSJMU B.Tech Course Syllabus

CSJM university offers B.tech in six specializations. Each specialization has deals with different areas of study and has various topics covered in the array accordingly. Candidates can refer to the below table for detailed syllabus details as per the specialization.

CSJMU B.Tech Placement

The placement cell of the university works constantly towards preparing the students for the campus interviews through providing them training in Aptitude tests, group discussions, technical and HR interviews. The cell promotes career counseling by organizing various guidance lectures for the students by senior corporate personnel, notable alumni and guest faculty to keep them motivated to strive for more.

Ques. What is the required cut-off marks in JEE Main to get admission in Btech at CSJMU?

Ans. The cut-off for the entrance exam varies every year. You can look at the previous year’s cut-offs for a better estimate.

Ques. Does CSJMU accept any other entrance exam results for admission in B.tech?

Ans. Not generally. However, CSJM will be considering JEE results for admission in B.tech course for the year 2023.

Ques. Is there any relaxation in the eligibility for SC/ST students for B.tech programme at CSJM?

Ans. The University follows reservation policy as per the Uttar Pradesh government rules, followed by the AKTU. Students belonging to SC/ST candidates must have scored an aggregate of 45% with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects.

Ques. What is the criteria for admission in B.tech at CSJM for NRI candidates?

Ans. NRI admissions are done on the basis of marks secured in the 10+2 examinations. The admission process for NRI candidates is conducted in the month of July.

Here are some of the information given by a pass out student from CSJM University : The fee structure is not higher than other private colleges as it is a government college and comes under state government universities. Admission is given on the basis of the State Entrance Examination conducted by AKTU. If you are looking for campus placement opportunities, then you should not join this university. It would be better to look for other career options after doing B.Tech from CSJM. You have to put more effort into yourself to secure a future. However, the faculty is supportive but they lack proper resources. After graduation, you can prepare further for GATE and with a good percentile, join an MNC.

Easy notes offer important questions and examination patterns but it would be advised to not rely on the answers or solutions given there. The answers are quite disappointing and irrelevant. You should rather prefer the general textbooks. However, if the exams are near, you cannot read the textbooks due to time constraints, in this case, you can go for easy notes. They can help you with 25% of your preparation. Select the important topics and look out for the video lectures on Youtube. It would be advised to buy and follow textbooks especially for Mathematics as the easy notes are not enough.

You should choose the branch as per your choice and interest. It would be advised to not choose CSE just because it is the highest-paid. Secondly, if you are pursuing CSE, you will need a laptop with a good internet connection. You cannot always be dependent on labs. You can also join online courses offered by CODING BLOCK, CODING NINJAS, EDx, MIT, and many other MOOCs to get good at programming. It is not necessary to always look for a brand tag if you really believe in yourself especially when you are studying CSE. Placement opportunities are available in reputed companies such as Google, Amazon, and many more by your skills in the definite field.

You should not join CSJM University for BCA as it will be very hard to maintain your academic score at 60% in this university. This also has exceptions if you have good relations with the university employees for any known reason. One of my friends is pursuing her BCA in Axis college Kanpur and her percentage is around 50% and it is quite hard to get any job without keeping to 60% in academics. It would be recommended to go to some other university. BCA from any recognized university will have some value, thus it is important to choose any college or university wisely.

Check the fee structure and see if it fits your budget. For CSJM, the course fee for MBA is 48,000. Examine the faculties, their industrial experience, the types of associations they have, and the colleges from where they graduated. Check previous placement records, the lowest packages, and the types of companies and student profiles offered. The placement record for CSJM is not that good. You will have to seek placement opportunities yourself. The average CTC offered in the placement drive is 3 LPA. It is determined by the degree you intend to pursue and your objectives in that regard. Both colleges are well-known in their respective fields, and your choice will be depending on your requirements. Though, if you want to acquire a degree as a regular student, I would recommend Lucknow University, and if you want to get a correspondence degree, I would recommend CSJM University. Lucknow University has made 75 percent attendance mandatory for UG degrees, which is a wonderful step, but it has also proven to be a bane for working students. So, if you are working, I recommend Kanpur University, otherwise, go for Lucknow University. It also offers decent placement opportunities. The average CTC offered at the institute is 4 LPA. Lucknow University, while not the finest, but definitely superior to CSJM University.

Laxmikant - Indian Polity or Gauba J.C Lahiri, B.L Fadia - Public Administration World Constitution - Vidya Bhushan Political Thought - Asraf Ali U.R Ghai - International Relations These books are necessary for B.A Political Science. Here are some other factors that can help you get a gold medal. Conceptual clarity. Real-world examples should be provided to back up your answer. Finish the whole syllabus. I have a few friends from CSJM and according to them, it is not a good option for BCA. There is no scope for improvement or expansion. You should think about the best option for your future security and worth. The CSJM placement cell does not put enough effort to offer placements for the students. The placement records are not that good. The average CTC offered is around 3 LPA. Rather than focusing on studies, the administration only required 75% attendance. The only advantage CSJM offers is the library.

CSJM University Kanpur conducts a separate entrance examination for M.Sc Biotechnology. The admissions are based on the merit list prepared based on the examination. As for placements, there are little to no placement opportunities for Biotechnology in India. It is a research-based subject. So, most job opportunities are in the R&D sector. But India doesn’t spend much on the R&D budget. That’s why there are not many Biotechnology companies. So, the placement for M.Sc Biotechnology at CSJM University, Kanpur is not good.
