Course Description

IIT Madras BTech Admissions 2023 are over. JoSAA has released the round 1 – 6 cutoff for IIT Madras. The BTech CSE Cutoff 2023 for IIT Madras remained 42- 148 for General Category. IIT Madras offers Btech as its falgship program where admissions are granted as per JEE Advanced score followed by JoSAA counselling. JoSAA releases 6 round of seat allotment for admission to IIT Madras. Check JEE Advanced 2024 Preparation Strategy

JEE Main registrations are expected to start from November 2023 and the exam will be conducted in 2 sessions. Candidates having a valid JEE Main score need to register for JEE Advanced, where registration will commence in April 2024.

IIT Madras B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the B.Tech. program offered by IIT Madras is based on the JEE Advanced rank followed by JoSAA counselling. In addition, below are the details of the eligibility criteria that the applicants of IIT Madras need to fulfil in order to get admission to the institute:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths).
The selection of the applicants is based on the JEE Advanced rank card.
However, considering the 10+2 examination result, as well as the JEE Advanced, the category wise selection is done, which are listed on the All-India Rank (AIR).

According to the 2021 ISI Kolkata placement highlight, the average CTC offered was INR 19 LPA. Doing Ph.D. or higher studies can be difficult, especially if you are planning on going overseas. There’s a common room with television, magazines, and newspapers.
