Course Description
To apply for admission to any of the courses at RTU, the candidates must visit the official website of the university.
- Register at the official website of RTU.
- Applicants need to fill the personal information like name, age, Date of Birth, qualification details, etc. and register themselves.
- Those who register successfully will receive user id and password which must be used to log in for completing the application form.
- In the application form, enter particulars related to Personal Details, Academic Details, and Contact Details. Submit once done.
- After completing the application form, students need to make the fee payment of amount INR. 1000/-
- Application fees can be paid through online mode using Debit/ Credit card or through Demand Draft
- Submit your form.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programs, the candidates must have completed post-graduation in the respective or related field with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories)
Selection Criteria
Students can also apply for the Ph.D. program at the doctoral level on the basis of their performance in RTU DAT conducted by the university followed by an interview.

I have a few friends from Rajasthan Technical University and according to them, it’s not likely that you will be able to get your original certificate directly from RTU Kota. It is supposed to be distributed by the college only.
So check with your college. If yours didn’t reach the college, then let them send a request to the RTU Kota office for the same and wait until then.
If it's urgent you can visit RTU Kota. Don’t forget to bring your original documents like provisional degree, consolidated marksheet, semester-wise marksheet, registration card, identity card, etc. You can also contact the number provided on the website. Although they hardly answer.
Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is an affiliated university located in Kota in Rajasthan.
It has affiliated about 68 engineering colleges, 3 B.Arch colleges, 16 MCA colleges, 39 MBA colleges, 31 M.Tech colleges, 1 M.Arch, and 1 hotel management and catering institute. More than 3 lakh students study in the institutes affiliated with the university.
As per various ranking parameters, the university ranks under 100. RTU Kota is not the best university in terms of ranking but it is better and more valuable than any other private university.
Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) issues Official Transcripts through Post. You have to apply physically at Kota. If not possible, tell someone to do it on your behalf.
Make sure the following documents are ready :
- All your Mark Sheet (1st Sem - 8th Sem).
- Migration Certificate.
- Soft copy of the transcript format. (They have only US transcript format).
- Fill the Application form for issuing a transcript.
- Copy of mark sheets of all semesters issued during the course.
- Copy of Consolidated mark sheet and Provisional degree certificate and Degree Certificate.
- Copy of mark sheet of class 10 or Birth Certificate and Photocopy of Personal ID.
Go to the RTU office Kota and write an application and attach a copy of all the above-mentioned documents along with a soft copy of the transcript format. They will give you the hard copy of the transcript in 1-2 hours. The price is around INR 600 for the transcript.
All the instructions are mentioned on the website. You will get the required number of transcripts directly to your doorstep within 10–15 days, so try planning it early.
