Course Description

Amity University Jaipur, established in the year 2008, offers a two-year full-time M.Tech degree across various specializations, such as Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Solar and Alternative Energy.

Admission to its M.Tech program is based on the candidate’s performance in the written exam conducted by the institute or in the GATE examination.
To be eligible for the admissions, candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering in a relevant stream from a recognized board.

Amity University Jaipur M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The general eligibility for M.Tech.is to have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. in the relevant field.

Amity University Jaipur M.Tech Admission Guidelines

The selection depends on the merit prepared of an English language test followed by a program-based written test. The selected candidates appear for the personal interview round. The candidates having a valid GATE score is preferred.

At the time of COVID-19, Amity university has announced new admission criteria. As the onsite interviews are not possible, the candidates need to submit the interview video to the admission microsite based on the interview questions.

Amity Jaipur BBA course fee is INR 92,000 per semester for non-sponsored students. The total course fees for the three-year-long degree are INR 67.20 Lakhs. Total year-wise tuition fees are around INR 22.40 Lakhs.

Students have the option to opt for scholarships. Amity offers scholarships to students based on their entrance examination scores.

Students can apply for admission in Amity University in online mode through the official website and also in offline mode by sending the application form to the university. The BA LLB program is of 5 years and the tuition fee to be paid is 1.68 lakh per year.

Eligibility and Selection

Students should have a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2 from a recognized board.
Students are selected for admission based on their performance in 10+2 exams. The institute also conducts English Language Test, which is followed by a Personal Interview. Applicants who score more than 80% in qualifying examinations are considered for direct admission.

Amity University Jaipur offers a rigorous B.Tech program in CSE. Admission to B.Tech courses at Amity University is done on the basis of the valid score of Amity JEE and the course fee for B.Tech programs is 1.8 lakh per annum. The course curriculum for CSE is 80% based on programming languages(C, C++, java, python, etc.).

Reputed companies like TCS, Ultron, Byjus', Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. are the top recruiters to hire students for various posts such as software and web developer, software analyst, system engineer, and others. Also, many of the CSE students from AUR got placed in multinational companies like Amazon and Flipkart through off-campus placement. A total of 85% of the CSE students get placed every year and the average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. In the last placement drive, the highest placement package was received by the CSE department which was around 12 lakhs per annum. Amity University Jaipur is good for pursuing an MBA. It follows an innovative curriculum that focuses on practical hands-on learning and imparting industry-relevant knowledge. The institute conducts various seminars, guest lectures, and conferences around the academic year. The faculty members are well-experienced and have in-depth knowledge of their subjects.

Amity corporate resource center takes care of the placement. MBA has a placement rate of around 88.30%. During Amity University Jaipur placements 2021, MBA students received an average CTC of INR 5.12 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 40 LPA. HCL, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, etc. are among the major recruiters to take part in the placement drive.

Infrastructure

The university is very good at infrastructure having all facilities such as;

Sufficient space for indoors games (table tennis,) and outdoors games( cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc.)
Free Wi-Fi network
Departmental store, cafeteria, ATM, medical store, and many more.

Faculty

More than 850 faculty members are for all the Departments. They are highly experienced with efficient skills as per their field of study.

Academics

They not only provide theoretical but practical knowledge as well. The University facilitates internship and training programs with many research experts to enhance their skills. The library consists of 40,000 books and 17,000 online journals and has 650 publications.

Hostel

The University has a total of 5 hostels for boys and girls, one is for girls, and the remaining are for boys. All the rooms are non-AC and two seated with Wi-Fi. The hostel fee is quite high, approximately 60,000 per year.

One of my friends is currently residing in Jaipur and he recommends RNB Global University, Bikaner for higher education.

Though the quality of education at Amity University Jaipur is not so high and placements are very poor, he took admission to RNB Global University. It has one of the finest infrastructure and rendering world-class facilities one can see on the campus.

The faculty is highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees from top universities around the world. The interaction level between faculty and students is also very high. There's communication both ways, which is a key aspect.

It is situated on a 300-acre campus in the city of Bikaner and assures an all-around development of the students with various student-led activities, cross-college electives for students, and regular visits by eminent personalities with a lot of guest lectures.
