Candidate can obtain the application form from the University Office at MGMCRI Campus, Pondicherry in person/by post or should log on to the university website and follow the given steps:

1. Fill the application form with the necessary information
2. Take the printout of the Application form
3. Enclose the application form with the important documents
4. Pay the application fee via available  online payment modes/ demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Sri Bala Ji Vidyapeeth University, Ponducherry-607402
5. The candidate shall submit the application form along with the necessary enclosures  to the university office either by post/in person
6. Candidate must keep the Xerox copy of the completed applications for subsequent use

The candidate must send the photo affixed and duly signed application and the following copies of following documents.

2. HSC/CBSE/other equivalent mark sheet
3. Graduation certificate
4. PG Certificate

PhD-( Anatomy/ Microbiology/Interdisciplinary Research   /Physiology/ Biochemistry/Medical Education/ Community Medicine/Medical Informatics)

Duration of program:

Full time: Min 3 years-Max 6 years (2-4 years for candidates with M.Phil./equivalent degree)

Part time (internal/external): Min 4 years-Max 7 years (min 3 years for candidates with M.Phil. /equivalent degree).

Eligibility:

• Candidate(Indian/foreign) must have hold of master’s degree of min 3 year duration/Concerned PG Diploma in the concerned subject with not less than 50% of marks/equivalent grade from a university recognized by MCI are eligible for admission to full time/part time admissions
• Candidates with min 1 year teaching experience /5 years non-teaching experience in concerned subject at UG/PG level and willing to work at SBVU in the concerned department are eligible for admission to Ph.D. under part-time internal category
• Qualified technocrats/scientists /social scientists with minimum 2 years’ experience are eligible for admission to Ph.D. under part-time internal category whereas experience of 10 years is required for admission to Ph.D. under part-time external category
• For Ph.D. in clinical branch candidate with PG diploma are required to have working experience of 1 year in the concerned department whereas candidates with PG degree are eligible for part time (internal/external) category without any work experience
• Qualified Candidate who is permanent faculty/member of any recognized university/industry (Indian/abroad) with minimum two years of work experience in the concerned field is eligible for Part-time (external) Ph.D.
