Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time M.Sc Program should have passed any Bachelor Degree or Post graduate Degree/Diploma examination of Mangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto are eligible for the programme provided they have secured a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates) marks in aggregate including languages and Group III subjects. Candidates holding Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga with pass class at the Undergraduate level are also eligible for the programme.

How good is Mangalore University?

Mangalore University offers good facilities and infrastructure for learning. It has one of the best libraries in Karnataka. It has a vast collection of books and magazines. Students are also given access to an e-library.

MU syllabus is outdated. The guest faculties aren’t good. Some of them lack basic knowledge of the subject. The permanent faculty base is better in comparison.

Although Mangalore University offers decent resources and facilities, in terms of academics it’s not a good option.
