Eligibility Criteria

A candidate for admission to the Ph.D programme must have obtained any of the following academic qualifications in the discipline of research or a subject allied thereto (the alliance will be decided by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the respective Board of Studies) at the Master’s degree level (M.Tech/M.E., MBA, MCA, M.A., M.Sc., etc. other than M.Phil) from any recognized University.

At least 60% marks with First class or equivalent CGPA at the Master’s Degree level;
At least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA at the Master’s Degree level followed by the degree of M.Phil with course work.
At least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA at the Master’s Degree level with at least three years teaching experience in the subject concerned in a recognized College/University/Institute; or at least three year’s experience on supervisory/executive positions in Industry/business house.
At least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA at the Master’s Degree level and the candidate has also qualified the UGC/CSIR- NET, GATE, etc.
At least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA at the Master’s Degree level if the candidate has been selected as Junior/Senior Research Fellow in a research project sanctioned by UGC, CSIR, ICSSR or any other govt. body to the University or its Institutes.
In case of NRI /Foreign Nationals, at least 55% marks in the qualifying examinations of Master’s degree in the relevant discipline. The Candidates who have completed their Master’s degree from a foriegn university will have to produce a certificate of their degree’s equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, India.
M.Tech/ME will be relevant in the Engineering disciplines of CSE, ME, and M.Sc. will be relevant in the Non- Engineering discipline of Chemistry.

SRM, Sonepat, and MMU, Mullana is UGC and AICTE approved private institutions of India. Both MMU and SRM have been graded ‘A’ by NAAC. MMU is also ranked 101st by NIRF. The institutes have features that are unique to them and their engineering programs, especially CSE, are quite popular and in demand.

Admission:

The admission to the BTech CSE program at SRM, Sonepat, and MMU, Mullana is as follows.

Infrastructure and Facilities:

SRM: The campus equips students with a number of facilities such as a central library and multiple institutional libraries, computer R&D or project labs, indoor and outdoor sports, and an auditorium with a 1000-people accommodating capacity.

MMU: Facilities offered include a library with 9500+ resources and library management software, mess, a well-equipped gymnasium, healthcare, 15 hostels, etc.

Scholarships:
