Baba Mastnath University (BMU) Rohtak offers a Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) and MCA (Lateral) program for a duration of 2 and 1 year respectively. 

MCA program offered at BMU Rohtak involves the usage of computer applications in problem-solving. 

The minimum requirement to apply for the MCA program offered at BMU Rohtak is a Bachelor’s degree. The selection of candidates is based on the merit list released by the University based on the candidate’s qualifying examination.

BMU Rohtak MCA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to seek admission for the MCA program offered at Baba Mastnath University (BMU) Rohtak shall fulfill the minimum eligibility as mentioned below:

• Shall have passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in BCA or Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.
• Shall have passed B.Sc. or B.Com, or B.A. with Mathematics in 10+2 level or have passed any bridge course as per the University norms.
• For MCA (Lateral Entry): Candidate should have passed BCA, B.Sc. (IT), or B.Sc. with Computer Science with 50% in aggregate marks. Must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• 5% relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

BMU Rohtak MCA Admission Guidelines

The selection criteria for Admissions to the MCA program is based on the rules prescribed by the State Government/ apex authority concerned. 

• BMU MCA releases a merit list based on the candidate’s qualifying examination.
• Shortlisted candidates are then invited for the BMU Counselling procedure. Candidates are required to participate in the seat allotment process where they can choose college according to their preference.
• Admission seats will be provided to candidates based on their respective merit rank and preference of college.
• BMU University also gives admission advantages to candidates involved in extracurricular activates.

Candidates seeking admission to the MCA course offered at BMU Rohtak can apply through online or offline mode.

Online Mode

• Visit the BMU Rohtak official website @bmu.ac.in.
• Register online using email id and phone number. BMU Rohtak will send a confirmation to the registered email and phone number.
• Login using user Id and password. Fill in the application form thoroughly and upload the mandatory necessary documents.
• Candidates are also required to pay the application fee through online means such as Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
• Verify the details and submit the application form.

Offline Mode

• Candidates are required to download the application form made available on the official website of BMU Rohtak.
• Fill in the application form thoroughly and submit it to the University along with mandatory documents and application form fee. 
• Candidates are required to submit the application form fee in the form of a demand draft in favor of Baba Mastnath University, Asthal Bohar, Rohtak.

BMU Rohtak MCA Course Details

Baba Mastnath University (BMU) Rohtak offers MCA and MCA (Lateral Entry) program that involves the usage of computer application in problem-solving. 

Course Duration: The duration of the MCA program is for two years divided into 4 semesters while the duration of MCA Lateral Entry is for the duration of 1 year divided into 2 semesters.

Prescribed Coursework: 

• From 1st to 3rd Semester: Theory Lectures, Tutorials, Practical, Seminars and Projects, Industrial Training are included.
• However, the 4th semester includes more practical training in the industries or organizations under the training program.
• BMU Rohtak MCA program is a credit-based course. 
• The candidate shall have a minimum attendance in each course to be able to sit for semester examinations.
