Course Description

PRSU M.Sc is a two-year full-time program offered through University Teaching Departments and various affiliated colleges. The M.Sc program is offered in 14 specialisations including Physics, Chemistry, Bio Sciences, Geology, and Mathematics. The university has a total intake of 312 for M.Sc general courses and 56 for M.Sc self-finance courses such as M.Sc (IT), M.Sc Microbiology, and M.Sc Biotechnology.

PRSU M.Sc admission 2024 will begin soon. Admissions to all M.Sc courses will be based on scores obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university. To be eligible for admission, candidates must hold a B.Sc degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Application forms for MA admission at PRSU are released online on the official website at prsu.ac.in.

PRSU M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for M.Sc admission at PRSU, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
For M.Sc. in Electronics and Photonics - 2nd division in B.Sc. Maths, Physics and Electronics, Chemistry, Computer Sc., Inf. Tch., and EEM/B.Voc. RETM.
Students from other states (except Chhatisgarh) must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the qualifying examination.

PRSU M.Sc Admission Process

Admissions to all M.Sc courses at PRSU and affiliated colleges are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. For the final selection, the university releases a merit list based on entrance scores, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Application forms for M.Sc admission at PRSU are usually released in June or July every year. PRSU has released the December 2021/January 2022 examination result on the official website. You can check your result by following the steps below.

Visit the official website of the university - PRSU Result.
On the university official page, scroll down to the link - ‘Annual Exam Results 2018’.
The PRSU login page will appear.
Click on the result link and select Sem Exam April 2019. The result section will appear on the screen.
Fill in the required details, i.e. Course Name, Student Type, and Year/Semester. Enter Roll Number and click on the search button.
PRSU result will appear on the screen. Check the subject-wise marks obtained.
