• This course combines and integrates both academic and work-based training in order to provide participants with the practical skills and underpinning knowledge to fulfill the role of a Healthcare Science Practitioner in Cardiac Physiology. 
  • Knowledge of the normal structure and function of the human body will be developed so that the student can appreciate the clinical abnormalities that occur as a result of the disease. Students will consider the diagnostic tests used within the profession and be able to understand how test results are used to plan subsequent treatment.
  • The course will provide the student with a wider appreciation of a number of specialisms in physiological sciences through broad experiential components in cardiovascular science in order to develop a more holistic view of the areas contributing to high-quality care.
