• This course enables students to further their mathematical knowledge in a broad range of areas of pure and applied mathematics and statistics. 
  • Material covered includes mathematical modelling (say of disease transmission and population dynamics), perturbation theory, representation theory, cyber metrics and various areas of statistics and financial mathematics.  Their dissertation can be undertaken in any one of a number of different areas of mathematics and will be supervised by a member of the academic staff.
