  • In student's first year they’ll cover the core conceptual frameworks in psychology, how to investigate psychological questions and ways that psychology can help us in everyday life. In student's second and third years they’ll choose from a range of specialist topics – from the psychology of forensics and wellbeing to gender, sexuality, and cognitive neuroscience.
  • Students have recently investigated psychopathy and brain activity, psychological issues around eating disorders, animal therapy, and motivations in physical exercise. Students will use specialist facilities in University of Gloucestershire psychology laboratories, including electroencephalogram (EEG) equipment to measure brain activity, and virtual reality facilities to investigate how environments shape thoughts, feelings, and behavior.
