• International Relations is a critical discipline for understanding the world and achieving a sustainable future. University of Gloucestershire’s program explores the mechanisms, influences, and tensions surrounding global politics, governance, development, justice, and warfare.
  • Students will take part in simulations of international political crises designed to deepen understanding of the challenges of diplomatic work as well as developing communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities. Students will progress from study visits to key UK political institutions to an optional overseas trip where they could explore inequality and the legacy of apartheid in South Africa, global and organized crime in Sicily, or international governance at the UN in Geneva. There is also the opportunity to spend a semester in Year 2 at partner Universities in Spain and the USA.
