- Interior architects design new spaces or imaginatively adapt, reuse, remodel, refurbish and refit existing buildings creating new exciting, experiential spaces and places.
- The course provides a mix of innovation and creativity, they want students to challenge and question preconceived ideas of what interior architectural design is, or might potentially become. The course encourages students to experiment, take risks and think outside the box ‘ literally!
- This course is a blend of shared collaborative and discipline-specific modules, with links to other courses with modules in Drawing and Design Communication, Sustainable Technology and Materiality, Contemporary Environments, Professional Studies, and Major Design Project.
- The university uses a variety of assessment methods to help students develop their academic and professional skills, such as coursework projects, crits, reports, group work, site surveys, practical and digital workshops, portfolio development, and precedent field trips in the UK and overseas.
