- Students will combine criminology and sociology to examines contemporary social life from a critical perspective – focusing on the causes and consequences of crime and disorder and how communities respond to the challenges of a changing social world. With the opportunity to work with external organizations, students will develop the skills for helping to create safer and stronger communities when they graduate.
- Students will be able to pursue their interests to match their career goals through option modules covering topics such as crime scene analysis, crimes against humanity, migration, domestic violence, the power of the media, child sexual exploitation, anti-social behavior, terrorism, and community safety.
