• Develop advanced technical skills, students learn to patent their designs and prepare a professional portfolio ready for industry. Students will work on real business briefs on this course – from the development of mobile apps, fly drones, and a European MCU rally car, to hardware platforms and mission-critical software. Computing problem solving and software engineering is the focus of this degree.
  • Students will also have the opportunity to travel to Germany to race their own-built line-tracing robotic car in the European Renesas MCU Car Rally. The MCU Car Rally is held as part of the Embedded World event in connection with AND Technology Research Ltd and Renesas Electronics. On their four-year sandwich degree, students can get a head start with their career with a one-year work placement. Recent work placement destinations include Accenture, Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu, GE Capital, and Renishaw. Students often get their graduate jobs with these organisations.
  • Students can also opt for a 3-year full-time study program or a 4-year fulltime program with a foundation year.
