• Student will receive training in the skills required in the reading and interpretation of the current scientific literature, to enable the student to develop an in-depth understanding of the causes, diagnosis, and management of human genetic diseases.
  • They aim to develop students' research and writing skills so that they will be in a position to contribute to the scientific literature in an effective manner.
  • The course culminates in the Research Dissertation, which will be assessed through their production of two articles in the style of published scientific work. The aim will be to develop these to publication with them if suitable.
