  • Promoting creative thinking in a commercial context, the course focuses on developing their business acumen and strategic planning ability.
  • Students will acquire skills in fashion buying, merchandising, forecasting, management strategy, PR and marketing, branding, and international business.
  • In the first year of their course, they will be introduced to the fundamental principles of the fashion industry, creative business, and management, as well as brand management and promotion, buying, and merchandising.
  • Students will focus on finding their own specialist approach to work in their second year and be encouraged to start working more independently as they learn more about professional practices, visual merchandising, and fashion forecasting.
  • In their final year, they will achieve a greater level of independence, focusing on self-managed research, study, and practice.
  • Students will then apply everything they have learned as they produce a unique, creative, and industry-linked final major project.
  • Students will also have the option to complete a year-long Professional Practice Year within the fashion industry, which provides them with an opportunity to apply what they have learned and further develop their skills and experience.
  • The graduates are highly employable, with a wide range of skills that are sought-after in the fashion business. Former students have progressed into careers working for household names such as Topshop, Burberry, and Harrods.
