The MA in Peace, Conflict, and Development Studies provides an advanced understanding of the inter-relationships between conflict, development, security, and governance in developing, fragile, transitional, and/or conflict-affected regions and countries.
The program will provide enhanced training and engagement with widely used policy and practitioner analytical tools and models, enabling students to develop their skills and employability.
Students will gain the understanding and skills they need to pursue or develop a career in what is now a major area for international, national, and local policy and practitioner communities. Students will be equipped to work across many sectors including:
international development
conflict prevention and peacebuilding
post-conflict recovery
humanitarian aid
natural resource management

Academic Eligibility:

All applicants are required to have an Honours degree, normally at the level of a 2:2 or above (or equivalent) plus equivalent of GCSE Grade 4 (old grade C) or above in English Language.

Indian Eligibility:

Candidates should have minimum a bachelor degree UK 1st Class = 70% UK 2:1 = 65% UK 2:2 = 60%

In order to study in the UK on a course longer than 1 year, students will need a Tier 4 visa. In order to apply, students must have an unconditional offer of a place on a course with a licensed Tier 4 sponsor (i.e. the University of Bradford) enough money to support themselves and pay for your course - the amount will vary depending on the circumstances.

proof of relationship with parent or guardian and consent if under 18
tuberculosis test results if from a country where they have to take the test
financial evidence showing that the remaining tuition fee and an appropriate amount of maintenance or that applicant are fully sponsored (low-risk nationals are not expected to provide this evidence with the application, but the Home Office can ask for it so it is advisable to have it prepared)
an in-date ATAS certificate, if it is specified in the offer letter that the course requires ATAS clearance
