The first course of its kind to be accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry, this taught master's is designed to equip students with key skills in green chemistry and green chemical technology.
In this course, students will study industrial and commercial applications in close collaboration with industry leaders, and gain an awareness of the problems they face.
As part of the Department of Chemistry at York, students will join our friendly and welcoming community.

A good Bachelors degree from a recognised institution.
A score of 60% is considered comparable to a UK 2:1 (Second Class Upper Division). We take into account universities who mark more rigorously, eg University of Delhi, where they usually accept 55% or higher.
Applicants must also submit their research proposal at time of application if it requires a thesis to complete the degree.
