Brunel’s new Wireless and Computer Communication Networks MSc will deepen student's theoretical understanding of wireless and computer communication systems, as well as equip them with the ability to analyze complex problems associated with such systems.
Students will study and work to solve complex industrial problems in wireless and computer communications. This specialist course has a particular emphasis on traditional, new, and emerging technologies and subjects, including communication network technologies, communication network security, intelligent systems, internet of things, radio and optical communication systems, business and enterprise, and engineering ethics and sustainability.
Students will study the taught modules in the first two terms and then spend four months working on their dissertation. The dissertation is an advanced investigation into a current problem area related to wireless and computer communication networks.

Academic Eligibility:

Applicant should have a 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification, in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; Computer Science; Information Systems; Mathematics or Physics.
Other qualifications and relevant experience will be assessed on an individual basis.

Indian Eligibility:

Candidates should have a minimum score of 55%-65%. Offers within the grade range are determined by the higher education institution attended.

For all undergraduate, postgraduate, research, and most English Language courses, students should apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa, which covers the whole duration of the course. For this, proof of English Language ability is to be provided to get a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS). Application for a visa can be made 3 months before the start of the course. A decision on visa status is made within 3 weeks.

Following documents need to be provided to apply for a visa:

a current passport or other valid travel documentation
proof that one can pay for their course and oneself (For courses that are nine months or over, proof of 11,385 GBP needs to be shown)
proof of parental or other legal guardian consent if under 18
proof of relationship with parent or guardian if you’re under 18
tuberculosis test results if belonging to a country where the test has to be taken
The Admissions Office will send the CAS details by email. After applying for a visa, the applicant will be called for an interview as a part of the process.
