This course develops students understanding of environmental problems at a master’s level and gives students the skills to analyze and develop long-term solutions.
Students will be able to oversee environmental performance in the private, public, and voluntary sectors ensuring that improvements are made where possible and legislation is followed. This course seeks to raise their ability to understand and analyze environmental problems, in order to develop long-term solutions.
Students can take the course with or without a Professional Development work placement. Both options are accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).

Academic Eligibility:

A 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised qualification. A wide range of disciplines are acceptable, for example: Environmental Science; Engineering; Physics; Chemistry; Biology; Geography; Environmental Health; Marine Science; Maths; Agricultural Science; Law; Business; Commerce and Economics.
Applicants with a third-class honours degree or other qualifications will be considered with any relevant work experience. Such applicants may be required to attend an interview.

Indian Eligibility:

Candidates should have a minimum score of 55%-65%. Offers within the grade range are determined by the higher education institution attended.

For all undergraduate, postgraduate, research, and most English Language courses, students should apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa, which covers the whole duration of the course. For this, proof of English Language ability is to be provided to get a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS). Application for a visa can be made 3 months before the start of the course. A decision on visa status is made within 3 weeks.

Following documents need to be provided to apply for a visa:

a current passport or other valid travel documentation
proof that one can pay for their course and oneself (For courses that are nine months or over, proof of 11,385 GBP needs to be shown)
proof of parental or other legal guardian consent if under 18
proof of relationship with parent or guardian if you’re under 18
tuberculosis test results if belonging to a country where the test has to be taken
The Admissions Office will send the CAS details by email. After applying for a visa, the applicant will be called for an interview as a part of the process.
