The University of Southampton has run an innovative, highly interdisciplinary BSc Web Science program designed and taught by web scientists from across the social and computational sciences.

Students on both pathways take a shared core curriculum, enabling the development of the knowledge and skills required to develop a critical understanding of the Web, its history, and current trajectories of development.

Building on the core curriculum, students took additional core modules in pathway-specific areas and chose from a range of optional choices across anthropology, demography, economics, humanities, geography, and law.
