This course provides you with the experience, skills and credentials you need to practice mental health nursing in the UK, in two years rather than three. You'll spend 39 weeks on placement - with mentoring and support throughout - and study in Hallam's cutting-edge facilities.
This course equips you with the expertise, interpersonal skills and managerial ability needed for nursing those with mental health issues. You'll study in our facilities, and apply your skills across 39 weeks of practice-based learning. These placements take place across the region, in hospitals and homes. Throughout, you'll be supported by the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, and will be assigned a fully-qualified mental health nurse as a mentor. Graduation ensures your eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
