This course aims to provide an awareness of the structure and function of video game industries. Study low-level hardware architectures for optimisation, including the novel architectures of games consoles and how to exploit them. Gain project management techniques including the stages of game production and the structure and operation of the industry to help you identify and target a suitable career path.

You will be taught with students from the other relevant master's level courses. The MSc course provides a breadth and depth of study with emphasis on industrial relevance and involvement. You learn to locate, interpret and assimilate new developments from industry or the research labs into your own work in a productive and effective way and build a substantial portfolio of commercial-quality work.
