Many of the staff teaching on the course have worked in the sector, and retain a strong involvement with it. As a result they are able to draw on their own experience and use a range of case studies in their teaching.
You are encouraged to become an active, self-directed learner. We aim to provide a supportive, inclusive yet challenging learning experience that will help you achieve your ambitions. Lectures will introduce you to key theories, concepts, and current debates, with guest lecturers and site visits illustrating the concepts and issues being explored. Assessment is entirely through coursework, using tasks that you are likely to do as part of your professional role.
