The course is built around core technical modules in combination with project-based activities. These lay the foundation for learning that can be tailored to meet your specific needs and career goals whether these are in industry or academia.
You study in key technical areas, including digital electronics, electrical energy systems, communication media and system on chip (SoC) design. You'll also have the option of selecting from a wide range of specialist modules in areas such as robotics, digital signal processing (DSP) and artificial intelligence (AI). In addition, management modules are available to develop your project and managerial ability and maximise your employment and career potential.
As well as improving your technical skills and knowledge, we also focus on building wider professional skills, such as planning, research techniques and promoting innovation.
