The course is designed to support students who wish to independently research in-depth a particular historical topic of interest.
You will be able to demonstrate key critical and analytical skills, including the ability to articulate knowledge and understanding of sources, texts, concepts and theories relevant to the topic.
You learn through:
- a series of workshops
- independent research
- research methods training
There are regular research training events, seminars and informal meetings where you can practice delivering conference papers in a supportive environment. Funds are available to support you in attending conferences and we encourage you to deliver papers and publish your work.
