This course offers you an exciting opportunity to become a fully qualified adult nurse. You reflect on the evolution of the nursing role, the changing nature of health, illness and recovery and the relationship between service users and nurses.
You learn from positive and enthusiastic academic staff who have a variety of clinical expertise and experience. You are encouraged to link the theory and practice of nursing through case scenarios, real life situations and reflection on practice.
Nurses are an integral part of a multidisciplinary team and you study partly alongside students from other health disciplines, such as social workers, radiographers and physiotherapists. This allows you to develop team-working skills and understand the contribution of different professionals to patient care.
