This is an applied design course as we believe the most effective way to learn these skills is by directly engaging and experiencing them on a daily basis. You'll learn the whole design process through continued making, reflection and critical thinking. As you progress through the course you're encouraged to engage with a variety of design problems of increased complexity.

You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your second and third years. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career.
